Our puppy classes use reward based training. for pups from age of 10 weeks to 6 months.
Classes run for duration of 6 weeks and are one hour long.
The aim is to enable both you and your dog to develop foundations to have a well balanced and happy dog as well as a wonderful partnership. a welcome puppy pack will be given explaining how to overcome the most common puppy problems, such as biting and crate training.
Participating in the activity of scent detection is highly rewarding, as it offers physical and mental stimulation, whilst fostering a deeper connection between the dog and owner. Dogs of all breeds and ages from puppy upwards can participate. Classes are aimed at all breeds and ages of dogs, from puppies to adulthood. My aim is to teach you the skills to work with your dog, and take part in scenting.
Allowing dogs to participate in tracking will build a bonding relationship. Not only that, tracking is highly stimulating and rewarding for all dogs of different ages and breeds. tracking will develop strong communication skills between you and your dog whilst keeping the dog's mind engaged.
