An opportunity arose for me to go to Cyprus and spend time with (SPDC) Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus, 2nd Chance Dog Rescue, Simba Animal Aid - Cyprus, and Ammochostos Dog rescuers. Many dogs were either strays, abandoned, mistreated physically and or malnourished. Volunteers and other Aid workers had support from different trainers supporting them with positive re-enforcement training taking into account the personalities and welfare of each individual pup or dog.
